Aha I should say I’m not actually in Sligo town! Just bought a house in Enniscrone! When things are back to normal I’ll take a trip to Sligo! I went to uni in Dublin and moved to London, so Sligo seems cheap in comparison!

I have two fermentors on the go at the min. Czech pils and your summer breeze. I might have to up this to 4. I have a doppelbock and dark schwarzbier planned. These beer need time to condition. I just received 1 kg of hops so I am good to go

BBNo Triple IPA from the local near work. 9.5% and you can taste it! Strong but flavoursome

That's what I went with
Today was a Czech pilsner
5kg Bohemian pilsner
300g Melanoidin
200g carapils
200g acid malt

30g saaz @60 mins
35g saaz@10mins
35g saaz@ flame out

It's only cooling now so will update with the original gravity.
Yeast is wyeast Czech pilsner 2278

Having a bit of a mare today with two infected beers from Blackened Sun. I noticed the first beer had a lot of sediment at the bottom so I poured extra carefully, but it tasted awful. The second was even worse, overcarbed and it had a plug of yeast at the top of the bottle so all I got was yeasty foam, didn't even taste that one! There is defo an irony in the name of that second beer from them. That’s such a shame as that shouldn’t happen. They should be recalling all of those.
