First time I have had Bramling Cross in a pale ale, very moreish black currant flavour. I'll be looking for a recipe!

Interesting. I like Bramling X but only ever used it in a dark beer.

Pardon my French, but this is a Hell of a good beer.
If I'd brewed this I'd be chuffed to bits. Yum.
Better than anything I've had from a commercial brewery and that's the truth.

I had that on my list to make a while back, but somehow never did. Maybe because the last few pale ale type beers I've brewed lately have been a bit underwhelming.

Citra SMaSH behave yourself as this is a split brew due to a very high efficiency and I had 4.5l at 6.5% with 19l at 4.5 and this is a well bodied beer and will be enjoyed...
