struggling with this, it's just ok. the bitterness is dirty reminding me too much of amarillo. nothing british about this one.

Trying the rosemary mead again. Last bottle I think. Liked it at first but I’m not sure now. It’s ‘different’ and perhaps not in a good way.

Maybe it would’ve been better if it was less sweet. The sweetness doesn’t really complement the savoury rosemary taste.

Definitely drinkable but I don’t really reach for it over anything else. It hasn’t had a chance to age really either.

I’m using the butternut squash and thyme one for cooking mostly as well.

Probably won’t use herbs again in a brew.

The 'proper' Cloudwater DDH pale is one of my fav all time beers, so was super interested to try the the Tesco version brewed by Brewdog.
It's not quite as good, and a touch weaker at 5.0% IIRC, but very good for a supermarket beer.
Soft and juicy and the best balance of the 3 I've tried this evening.
acheers.

Unexpected day off tomorrow so I'm starting off with one of these, it's ok, nothing to write home about but has got me thinking about using oats in my next brew, a simcoe and cascade pale ale.

I need a flake too....

Trying something different tonight.
Usually hate vodka with a passion but this is really good. Was told to try it with milk and it is superb.

This one is black grape.

Anyone remember the ballboy that Eden hazard pushed over? He owns the company. His father is one of my wife's client and gave it to her.
