Time to treat myself with another beer from @dave_77

This one is a Czech Amber Lager weighing in at 4.6%

The bottle was generously filled and by that I mean the beer was pressed against the cap 😂 Cheers Dave! athumb..

Carbonation is good, colour is amazing, and the beer is crystal clear.

Aroma is mostly bready malt, maybe a little toast and a raisin or two.

Flavour is actually quite fruity and with a really good hit of malt - reminds me of the malt extract my mum used to give me as a child to build up my puny physique!

It’s another really nice ale Dave and is almost gone in the few minutes to write up this post.

Thank you!
Yes it's the raisin thing I'm not sure on..little too much..from the 10% melanodian or 20% dark Munich?

First to be weighed in tonight is @samale pilsner pale ale
Pours a lovely golden colour with a nice ice cream soda head that stays, lovely crisp taste from the pilsner malt and a lovely bite from the citra also a very clean fresh aroma from the citra. Can taste the cascade in the finish which is bitter but not harsh and goes down very easy. Well far too easy as it’s finished while I write.
could drink pints of this in the sun (or in the kitchen I don’t mind)
No abv on the bottle but I’m getting the feeling it’s above 6%
Cheers Sam

Just had Czech Pilsner from @Hazelwood Brewery . Another tasty Lager, think I preferred the German Pilsner this one seemed a little fruitier, but nice beer all the same. Lovely carbonation and the head still floating 45 mins later👍🏼

I like the fruitiness of the Czech and prefer it over the German 😂 We can’t all be the same can we. 🤷‍♂️

From the dark Munich I’d have thought?

I think it’s fine unless you have a flavour in mind and this doesn’t fit.
I'm reasonably happy with it for a first attempt and I liked it just think I would dial down the Munich . Maybe 10% of each. As I mentioned the other day I haven't had a Czech amber in a while to compare it against. The style guide does talk about Caramel and sweetness with fruit esters so 🤷🏻 it's all gone now so it went down ok🍺

Well I liked it. 😉

What yeast did you use, was this the Bohemian?
