Now this..

A test bottle of my hefeweizen, code name banana bomb! I deliberately fermented this at 24 degrees to get as much banana out of the yeast as I could. Only been in the bottle a week so no head retention at all, but it is a bit fizzy for a while.

I’ve got it smelling like a banoffee pie (but it still tastes exactly like a hefeweizen should just more pronounced banana and ever so subtle clove) which is exactly what I wanted 🙃 Still another few weeks or so until it’s properly ready but I had to try it. It’s going to make my Paulaner seem like **** water for the rest of the evening haha

This has more of a fruity hop flavour than being 'juicy' but really nicely balanced with very little bitterness and too easily drinkable :D

First of the night @Hazelwood Brewery Czech pilsner
Pours golden with light carbonation, excellent clarify as with all your beer. Photo doesn't do it justice
Aroma, nice pilsner with some light spice and a bit of sweetness
Flavour is much like the aroma. Nice pilsner malt some sweetness and finishing of with some spice
I am no lager expert but I really enjoyed this. I am surprised with the sweetness with such a low final gravity.
Cheers 🍻
