This lager is much better than the Amber lager that this Brewery make. Nice and crisp. Not as nice as Budvar, so for a supermarket purchase I think I will stick with Czech
Your welcome and wow interesting how be134 can express so differently with different additions. Out of curiosity what temp did you ferment at?Thanks for the review, this is the first beer I have ever used spice. This is from my posts
I have loads of beer in stock but I don't have a Saison. So it's my take on @Keats & @Hazelwood cardamom & coriander SAISON.
5kg pilsner
600g wheat
200g of torrified wheat
200g biscuit
15g magnum@60mins
Teaspoon of coriander & 2x cardamom pods @5mins
40g EKG@ 5mins
Yeast is be-134
I started low like 18 then started to ramp one fermentation start. I was up at 28 by day 5Your welcome and wow interesting how be134 can express so differently with different additions. Out of curiosity what temp did you ferment at?
I wonder if I ferment mine too cool and get low expression from them. Thanks for the info!I started low like 18 then started to ramp one fermentation start. I was up at 28 by day 5

Honestly mind blowing.I have a couple of EQ in the fridge, looking forward to trying them
Cheers for the review, glad you liked. I'm pretty happy with it for my first attempt using Brett. It worked out fine using the dregs from a couple of Orval bottles. Which definitely highlights how it's do easy to get an unintentional Brett infection.Next up @dave_77 Belgian Brett pale ale.
Pours a lovely golden slightly hazy colour. Nice carbonation with a light white head which lasts.
Aroma: slightly fruity, Brett which is like hay. Not over powering
Taste: Brett is dominate but again not over powering. Nice level of bitterness, not too dry on the palate, it has retained some sweetness which I like. Probably due to the fact it's relatively young.
Over all this is a really nice beer, the Brett is still young so it's not full on in your face. Really enjoyed this.
Good job hopefully my beer will land soon enough. Thank you for sending
