I'm enjoying a surprisingly good wilco christmas limited edition winter ale artisan kit.
Im having more success with these budget kits than a lot of the fancy premium kits.
particularly the tiny amount of sediment . two days in the warm and 7 in the shed.
This one came with a sachet of flavorings.

does the cold weather in the shed help significantly?

my 2 week old red imperial ale.
first brew i've put in a pressure barrel and the carbonation is spot on.
a pleasant new feeling having a pub with beer on tap in the kitchen...at least it is for me.

Finally a stout from the Brewdog Advent calendar, Layer Cake.

I was a bit unsure of this to begin, but it got better as it warmed up. Chocolate and Marshmallow flavours both there leaning more towards the Marshmallow and a long lingering bitterness. Not sickly sweet like other dessert stouts I've had either.

My penultimate advent beer is a nice crisp oat lager beer with admiral and challenger, from Newbarns brewery in Edinburgh.
Nice easy quaffer at 4.8%
