First taster of my Pendles Witch clone. Unfortunately unlike yesterday's PW drinker I don't have the real thing to compare it with. Anyway mine is tasty but refusing to clear in the keg, too cold and flatter than the eponymous lady's bosom.

A Dunkel might be a good start, it has good flavour.

Down here in the South of England we would call that about right (if a little thick) for the head on your beer. The nice thing about making and drinking your own beer is the only person that you need to keep happy is yourself.

i have in the past but this one just got hops o'plenty. the godiva is getting slightly lost.

Down here in the South of England we would call that about right (if a little thick) for the head on your beer. The nice thing about making and drinking your own beer is the only person that you need to keep happy is yourself.

i have thoroughly enjoyed this batch. it was stored too cool for 'proper' carbonation as my house is only at acceptable temperatures around a heat pad which already had the next brew on it.

A little protein will help with head retention. I use about 200g of Torrified Wheat for a 5-gallon batch.
