I anticipate a hangover.

So far tonight: vodka and lemonade (a couple), Raspberry cider (two or three) and a G&T (all homemade but if Chippy asks by homemade I mean I put the lemonade in the vodka and the tonic in the gin ;) )

It's very simple and practically full proof. As a rule of thumb, for practically every style, just dissolve 2/3 cup of table sugar and add to the batch (for approx 20L batch). Stir in and bottle. Done! Never had any issues. Don't overthink it, 2/3 cup will be grand.
Awesome cheers dude I'll give this a try on my next batch

it says use 2 per 500ml Bottle. I was using 1 drop of the Cooper's brand
Over a month or two, if you keep the room toasty, it may well be at the lower end of acceptable. I just dropped a batch I make a lot from one cup of sugar to 3/4 C and there's a bigger delay in carbonation. Good luck though.

If things ever settle down and you find yourself on the west side of Michigan--it's quite nice by the lake, by the way, try a four-pack of this beer. Bourbon barrel-aged stout called Dragon's Milk

I mentioned last time that it's at Costco's and cheaper than in the regular stores. This is from the newest pallet they brought in. I have to say, I was really pleased that New Holland Brewing made a deal with them to sell their product. There's fourteen stores in Michigan? That's a lot of beer being sold! The purchaser for Costco gets two thumbs up.
