My air conditioning unit arrived nice and early this morning which was great on such a hot day.

At 9:30 I unwrapped it but the instructions say you have to leave it for three hours before you use it!

At 12:30 switched it on and by 13:00 had determined it doesn’t work - gutted!

Luckily they have a help desk and provide a number. Unfortunately, the help desk is only open until 13:00!

All a long story to explain why I don’t have a nice cool beer from one of my kegs and instead I’m having one from the fridge.

10 day old centennial pale ale that's been carbonating since Sunday. I love centennial it's such a great hop.

I use quite a lot of cascade but barely used centennial, which is a big odd now I think of it. How would you compare the two?

The fan runs and all the controls pretend to be working normally but there’s no cooling, like the gas has all escaped - probably trying to get out of the heat like the rest of us!

I'm not sure why but the last year I have not really enjoyed cascade beers at all they have a strange woody herbal citrus, it's very distinctive and a bit boring. centennial is just piney citrus hops with some floral some people say soapy but it's a nice flowery smell to me. its just really well balanced and seriously good as a single hop.

You probably know...you have to leave it for the coolant to go back to the compressor.. fridges are advised to be left 24 hours..try it later or tomorrow.

I love cascade and centennial together. As a single hop I marginally prefer cascade but they’re both great for me

Just checked my stocks. I have half a kilo of cascade and zero centennial but you’ve inspired my to give it a shot and I’ve put it on my shopping list.
