I was feeling a little cabin fever and Iron pier brewery was calling me for a couple of pints and chill. It was calling me for a reason....Taras Boulba on draught...boom . One of my favourite beers that I have only had on draught once..2 pints and some soul music (Halloween DJ) and I'm a new man

This is a Cascade and Citra pale from May '22 - gives Proper Job a run for its money !

Bin there loads of times, New pool at Whitegate just outside Winsford Cheshire, tight lines Clint

Latest pale ale same malt and hops as last one different yeast, this one has midland last one had Voss, this is a better beer a lot cleaner and the hops stand out more

Bought a couple of dozen bottles from a local wine merchant and they worked out on average at 7.5 a bottle, well this a lovely smooth Shiraz, impressed so far. Not sure my palette is discerning enough to enjoy a wine three times the price will be three times better.

First pour of my Dry Irish stout on nitro. It’s exactly what I was shooting for, dark chocolate roasted malt flavours all the way. The touch of chocolate rye fills out and rounds off the body and mouthfeel. I’m very happy.

Looks good. Dry Irish stout is next on my list. I should really get nitro. I wonder what the smallest cylinder of gas is.
