We signed up to Netflix (the £10 per month HD package) i am impressed with the amount of stuff on there and so far i haven't watched anything i thought was a waste of time, currently watching WW2 in colour.

Not affected too much tonight. All the local folk including us will stand on their front doorstep, wave, and wish each other a Happy New Year as usual.

Tomorrow will be different. We normally have loads round for beers, food, and games/dancing/karaoke. Just my wife and I now.

I have a 3 month old. Wife has agreed to take him tonight so Ill sleep in the spare room as I snore when I drink too much. I have already had a few whiskys and started on the homebrew, tomorrow will probably be my first hangover for about 4 months!!

Our Christmas has been spent re-watching 80s movies, we saved Gremlins for tonight. It’s on now, being washed down with homebrew stout and Talisker. It’s just me and the wife this year and it’s been the quietest Christmas we’ve had in 20+ years....all these films have made it fun though
