I believe that we should keep the royal family etc and I fly a Union flag and St George Cross from my flag pole every day but will I get excited about a royal wedding errrrrmmmmmmm.... no

I'll be putting my new shed together, weather permitting, in the morning. There's a street party in the afternoon top of my road and we're having friends round in the evening. Saturday is my birthday so quite an eventful weekend ahead  !

I did get an invite to the wedding of course but had to put them off, what with the shed and all ... :P

I'm flying to Munich for a stag do! Looking forward to sampling the local brews. Any good bar suggestions in munich appreciated!

Cheers,

DirtyC

MiL using local street party as way to meet neighbours, as she only moved in a few months ago. So we have to go too, for a while anyway.

I'll be going to a garden party and getting royally pissed! I'll be getting stuck into the festivities

Good to see I wont be the only THBF'er celebrating tomorrow! I hope everyone has a jolly day regardless of royal opinions

I have decided to go to 'work' and brew for the day. Got a 'work visa' from SHMBO as I am very busy here at work with a lot of catching up after four days of last weekend. My brew partner is a staunch republican so I think I will have to listen to the radio coverage just to wind him up.

So come on, own up, how many of those who said they would be elsewhere watched it all?

Mrs. Mole isn't feeling too good, so watched it in bed and didn't get up until nearly 1 pm.

Daughter has now gone to the park for the afternoon with a bunch of friends.

Son still hasn't got up, but that's probably because he didn't go to bed until at least 5 am.

Thanks to Son, I've been awake since about 3 am

I'm having a major wine racking and bottling session, but there have been rather a lot of trial jars and leftover oddments to sample.

Sod going chugabout, I ain't driving to our boat's moorings or anywhere else today :drunk:

And I watched the arrivals and most of the ceremony, all of the carriages home and waited for the balcony scene.

British pageantry at its finest :thumb: Can any other country even come close?

Not me. Ended up going to feed holidaying daughters cats, and I hate cats. Then visited FOUR different garden centres untill she found what she wanted. Thanks William made the most of the day off.

I haven't seen any of it :thumb:

Got up fairly early, cleaned & sanitised a cornie, filled it with beer, then the rest into bottles, then spent a while designing labels for a laugh, then had to go and do the shopping, and put it all away.. after lunch got wired into some housework ahead of having my sister up for dinner tonight, and a party tomorrow for my daughter's 11th birthday..

Time to relax a bit and then it's on with the cooking and getting stuck into a few beers :drink: :drink:

Well I managed to bottle 10 gallons of my pale ale and getting ready for a hill walk tomorrow.
