For the best part of the day (at least) I've not been able to get onto the forum, typing in the url just bought up a page saying "parallel plesk panel" or something like that, does anyone have any idea what this problem is, it isn't the parental settings, my pc is my own and there was no problems on my mum's pc, malware bytes and norton didn't find any viruses or malware. So any ideas?

Parallels Plesk Panel is a website hosting package. I have no idea if it's used to host this forum, but it seems likely if you're getting messages about it when trying to get in.
Various large parts of the net in the UK have had DNS resolution problems in the last few days, I know that, so maybe it's connected with that.
I'll mention it to the site admins, see if they can shed any light.

Plesk is the control panel that we use on the server. There is no reason you should see that page. Where abouts are you located? As OB said though, there have been some weird DNS issues recently but not specific to the forum.

I'm in Warrington, but as my mum's pc (just down stairs) was getting on fine I can't see my location having too much to do with it.

That's hard to explain I admit :wha:
Unless your mum's machine was for some reason using different DNS servers :hmm:
The problem certainly affected the north west of england.
