weird foam on mead

Hi all!

Last week I used up some honey for something JOAM-ish: 1 kg honey, 3 liters of water, pinch of yeast nutrient, D47, juice of 3 small oranges.
Later additions: zest of said 3 oranges, 1 vanilla pod, 1 clove, all soaked for a few days in half a cup of vodka (for sanitation purposes). Added it after 4 days.

Now, another 3 days later, the water lock is still slowly blooping but some weird foam appeared, very white, very regular, not flaky at all (doesn't look like Krausen).

Anyone any ideas what happened?
