Note that's only an average, there can be fluctuations around that average, quite extreme ones in some cases. But it gives you a rough idea.
In general the water in the ST area is somewhat hard, somewhat chloride-biased, it's fine for brewing unless you're doing lagers. But there are always exceptions!
There's no such thing as a single ST water - they have dozens of supply zones which all come from different sources. Punch your postcode into the box halfway down here and you'll get a report :
