Can anyone recommend a decent ‘Dummies Guide to Water Profiling’, which is easy to understand, and explains how to test what you have, and how to change it to what it should be?

I’m afraid, even as a newcomer to all grain, I am hooked and starting my quest on producing the best Tribute Clone that I can....and water profile will be part of that quest.

The simplest guide is "don't worry about it". If the water coming out of the tap is good enough to drink, then it can be used to make amazing beer.

That said, this one covers it

Perfect, thankyou.
I do understand what you say about just getting on with it, and my first attempts will be with just tap water as that's all I have ever used.
I guess the water profiling is just knowledge for the next level.
