So had a monster 15 hour shift today, finished at midnight, to the pub for a quick 2 pints of Bitter & Twisted then home to watch the UFC. Drinking my dark wheat beer (Slam Dunkel) I bottled a few weeks ago and really going down well. Combining 2 of my passions, beer and MMA. Many other UFC fans out there among you brewers?

I was drinking homebrew and watching the rhinos game on Friday night, when that finished wr watched UFC, I Don't norally watch it, but I enjoyed it

Last 2 fights were really good :thumb:

Watching nhl hockey and having a few homebrews as we speak:-) Ufc is fun to watch. Train thai boxing from t.t.t

I normally sit up for it but I didn't bother this time as the card was terrible. The only fight I was even remotely interested in was the main event. Watched it all today though and I'm so glad I didn't sit up for it as I would have been cursing it upside down. Every fight was terrible IMO, the card looked bad on paper but in reality the fights were even worse. Other than the main event of course, that first round was just insane and had me giggling like a school girl :D

Big fan of the UFC, I watch most of them :)

I'll agree with you on most of the card...but you didn't enjoy Hunt vs Struve?!?!?!

To be honest I had pretty much switched off by that point. The knockout was fantastic and Hunt did very well to attack given the size of Struve. But Struve should have shut the fight out WAY before it got to that stage. His ground and pound was laughable, hunt could have took those shots all day, and it was so one sided when it came to power and attack.

I didn't even have the energy to shout at the TV and tell him to quit slapping and throw a fist.

I love Hunt from the old Pride and K1 days. Couldn't believe it when he took struve down and was messing about in his guard. Anyway had a 3 underdog accumulator on Hunt, Wanderlie and Okami, £10 to win £200 :)

Good odds those, I wouldn't have classed any of them as the underdogs lol. Must have done well talking up the fights :D

Sometimes the odds at UK bookies are a joke for MMA, don't think they invest much money on researching it properly. For Okami to be an underdog against Lombard was especially ridiculous. I'm not much of a betting man usually but this year I've taken Paddy Power to the cleaners on with MMA
