Christ! You must have been going like a rabbit last night. Longer than 3 minutes too i'd wager...

Good on ya mate. Top poster, top brewer, top shagger.

Cheers mate. had to abort the rauchbier... dont have hallertauer in stock :(

going for wasp stinger and have changed the first post to suit :thumb:

all in at 68'c on the dot, with a ph of 5.2 without treatment :thumb:

had to adjust the grain bill cos i've run out of MO malt. only managed 4.4 kilos, so upped the crystal by 0.1kg to suit :thumb:

yup! the only hitch today was lack of ingredients. but that hasn't stopped me.

been chilling 20 mins and down to 43'c. should be all cleaned up and back in the warmth by just after half 4. its been a goodun' :thumb:

21L of 1.050 in the fermenter

my extraction efficiency must've been down from the dregs of a year old sack

i'm happy anyways :drink:

Just about ran a dead heat there mate :thumb: I finished about the same time with the same amount & OG. I think I lost a lot to absorption from the flameout hops, 43g of Saaz.

These dark nights are a bugger. I'm looking out for recipes with 1 hour mash and boil times for the next few months.

score!! :thumb:

weird coincidence with the OG and volume though :?

Yes, the OG was exactly my target but I was a couple of litres down on quantity, although I did stop sparging at 1006.
