....don't go well together.. :(

knocked my drink and it went all over my 6 month old laptop. To say it's f***ed is an understatement. Now I have all the fun with the home contents insurance company...not to mention all the stuff I never backed up to my cloud storage..

nicely said Eddie.

Whoops indeed. :( :(

In fact, if you get the same model, just swap the drives!

At the very worst, you'll have to change the casing. :thumb:

Can't say the same for the Vodka though, might have to just wipe that up.

What happened to the lappy when the vodka spilled on it? My wife spilled a whole beer on hers recently and I managed to just clean it up and it worked fine. A long time ago, a girlfriend of mine spilt orange juice on hers and I had to replace the keyboard. It was a cheap and easy fix and the laptop worked normally.

This is shocking! What a dreadful waste of vodka! Hire is wasn't decent vodka that was wasted!

On a more serious note, hope you get it sorted quickly and easily.

The screen went white as it was on at the time. Left it till the next day to dry out and tried it and zilch..nada.

Oh, that doesn't sound good! I wouldn't know what to do with it at that point. I suppose I wouldn't throw it away just yet though. Maybe someone somewhere could find a use for what's left.

Personally I think Stolichnaya (think I've spelt it correctly) is a much better vodka, especially if it's been in the freezer!

My vodka of choice is Grey Goose Mandarin (think it's now called orange). Stolichnaya is lovely out of the freezer though.

I have a mate who lives in Poland, and when we visit, wow some of their vodka is like velvet.

ps....the fricking courier never turned up...

you've put me in the mood for a wee voddy. I'll be putting the laptop down though :D

Never tried that one, although I'm now going to have to look for it!

I think the Absolut favoured vodkas are the best price to quality wise, even more so when I can get them abroad. Still trying to get the elusive spiced apple one though.

Grey Goose is lovely, but expensive so only when I treat myself I have it. So damn smooth!

The mandarin was the first one I tried, it's really good. At £4-£5 per shot it's not cheap though. Needs to be served as cold as possible, as always, but when it's right... it's lovely.

They do a few flavours now, not tried any others but I would bet £ to a penny that they are awesome.

I enjoy the Absolut flavours but unfortunately they are all concentrated so drinking over ice isn't really an option. I have a bottle of the raspberry in the kitchen just now and it's LOVELY over ice with lemonade or in cocktails but on it's own the raspberry flavour is way too much.

Ah, I've never tried it on its own, always have it mixed with lemonade. Am I right in assuming that the Grey Goose ones aren't concentrated? I'm definitely going to have to try and get some now!

Actually, now I think about it, all the Absolut ones I have, even when mixed with lemonade are very strong flavoured, which makes me think they are concentrated. Amazing what you can realise when half drunk!
