Virgin Brewer making first cider.

I have my cider in bucket and have followed all necessary instructions for first 7 days. When I give it a sniff it has quite strong sharp "fizzy smell" lol. Is this common enough?? Ps hope this makes sense

Welcome Virgin Plums. Not sure what a "fizzy" smell is, but it doesn't sound bad.
Might I enquire as to whether you possess a hydrometer?

Hi there no I don't possess one as yet. I'm a desperate case when I start something and buy everything possible but I'm trying to be restrained until I find out it's for me

No probs Pete. How do I delete it from here then?
Am making a wee starter cider from the range.
On reading lost of other posts etc I have realized the fizzy smell I eluded to is just the normal sulphur smell
