hi
I am making a vinland Vodka kit, it tells me to start away at low temp around 18c then go to 20 to 22 c, any higher than this will lower the alchohol content, its been on 2 days and room temp is 22 but the fermenter is very warm and producing a constant stream of gas, has anyone else tried and had this result ?

Welcome to the forum

I have never used this kit (or anything similar) so I am unable to answer your question, but they do seem fairly specific about fermentation temperatures, although I don't understand why they should say that increased temperature will result in it finishing sweeter.

I had never even heard of this kit so I had to google it, and for anyone who's interested here's a PDF file of their instructions.

thanks
i wonder if this goes off like wine when opened and left to the air?
