Vinbrite MK3 filter

Does anyone use this filter? i have the old type not the upgraded 2002 model.
Basically i bought some demijohns, and some Bits n pieces in which i have aquired this filter.
Can I use the later filters with the old type?
Does it make a difference to clearing the wine?
Any info is greatly appreciated.

Does yours have the vent tube on the top, or was that the 2002 upgrade?

If not, I believe you can buy just the new bit, and everything else is compatible. Give Harris a ring on 01384 253073. That's my LHBS, so their number's stored on my mobile.

I think I have only used mine 3 times so far, with around 4 gallons going through each pad, but I've been well impressed with it.
