Videne for sterilising other food related stuff?

Mrs J is about to do pickled eggs for Xmas (not for me as I can't eat egg white) she needs to sterilise the jars and I have suggested some videne as I have a bottle made up.

Any reason why not?

What about jars for jam as well?

Nope... in the strength we use it there's no health issues that I'm aware of.

I've used VWP and Videne in the past for making wifes food stuff jars clean ( and Milton )..... and she's still standing.
