Hi folks,
I have some brews planned using Brett and Lactobacillus to sour the beers in primary fermentation.
Can anyone who has used these ingredients tell me if the plastic fermenter will be suitable for use in future brews or should it be put aside solely for Brett/Lacto brews to avoid any potential cross contamination?

Thanks

I reuse mine just fine. I rinse it out well with Oxyclean and hot water. Then I fill it with a starsan mix and let it sit overnight. I've never had any problems with that method.

I've read in a couple of my American brewing books that you should set aside any equipment used for Lambic / Wild Yeast styles and use it exclusively for those. Typically I can't find the quote / reason but I think that its due to them being "wild" they can be quite hardy and difficult to get rid of.
