Regular.
On a recent thread an intrest was show to how I use my polypins. It is a good way to get a real ale style beer, no added co2 but a good natural pint.
I barrel straight from the FV then leave to condition for a few weeks. Add 60-80gms of priming sugar and finings if required and move somewhere warmer until barrel expands, usually about 2 days. Move back to cooler place and allow to settle. The beer will remain in good condition for at least 2 weeks. These days I use a hand pump so don`t need to let expand as much as I find the action of the pump adds a bit of "life" right to the end of the barrel. But when I use to serve from gravity as you can see from the old photos there was plenty life in barrel right up to the end. The pint shown was the second from last out of the barrel.
This is an inexpensive way off moving on form bottles but a warning, they can burst if you are not careful. The main thing is I get the style of beer I like, a real ale rather than a gassy keg beer.
