Using DME in can kit.

Hi guys,

I'll be starting my 6th kit in a couple of weeks and was intending to use a beer enhancer instead of brewing sugar, however after some reading it seems that brew enhancer is just a mix of brewing sugar and DME.

I already have a 1kg of dextrose and figured I'd buy 500g of DME and mix that with 500g of my brewing sugar to make a 50/50 DME/Brewing sugar mix to basically make my own brew enhancer.

My question is do I just chuck them both in the FV like I do with normal brewing sugar or do I do something different?

Yeah check it in...but make sure you mix it well so you can get a proper gravity reading. DME likes to clump up a bit..
