Used grain on compost

Pig man takes all mine, along with all my wood offcuts from the workshop for his fire. I was hoping for a piece of pork or a few sausages but they haven't been forthcoming after 3 yrs of brewing :evil: :evil:

I'd find a new pig man... you'd think a few snags would be more than fair

Unfortunately my few KG of grains pales into insignificance compared to the trailer load of slop he picks up from the quorn factory :lol:

I used to put my spent grains on the compost heap but then the rats arrived. Got a better system now, I give them to my neighbour for his chickens and he gives me eggs! Result. :thumb:
The spent hops still go on the compost as our little rodent friends don't seem to like them.
