I made this recently and turned out really nice. I wanted to experiment with the new Muntons Craft Your Own extracts so planned this as a US style pale ale. It turned out a lttle darker than expected so ended up more of an amber ale, but nonetheless it was delicious and I will definitely brew it again and would recommend to any extract brewers out there.
Recipe:
1kg Light Dried Malt Extract
1.5kg Can of Muntons Craft Your Own - Munich Malt
100g Dextrose
250g of Dextrin Malt (or carapils)
100g Crossmyloof US C Hop Mix (11.5% AA)
Hop Schedule:
15g of US C Hop @10 mins
20g of US C Hop @5 Mins
65g of US C Hop @hopstand (80 degrees C for 20 mins)
Yeast: Crossmyloof Five US Ale Yeast Fermented at 20 degrees C for 13 days.
OG: 1.042 FG: 1.009 ABV 4.3%
