hey guys,

I've had some nordic pots laying around for over a year now and decided its time to do something with them.

I've got some tank connectors for things like sight glasses etc but was wondering, what are the best types of washers to use on these? My initial thought was silicone but I don't have a whole lot of knowledge in this area so thought it best to ask.
I've had a search through the forums but seems everyone has different ways of doing it and I'm just not sure = /

Thanks in advance everyone

I used silicone baking sheets cut up to size. I bought mine from Argos, but the pound shops always seem to have them

The flan style silicone baking dishes seem to yield the most flat ,usable material ,on the poundshop ones I bought today anyway .When making washers before I have used short lengths of pipe of the various diameters needed ,with one end sharpened up ,to punch the shapes out .This gives a much neater finish than the old scissors-and-stanley routine .The poundshop silicone seems to be a lot thinner than the cookworks stuff my mate has so you may want to double up to get a good working thickness .
