Two turbo questions

Hi all - just a couple of quick questions

I started my first turbo last weekend (nice and simple - 4.5l tesco value apple juice, 1 tsp yeast nutrient, 1 packet of young's cider yeast all in a demijohn OG 1.042) and everything seemed to be done 4 days later so I tested with a hydrometer and it was at 1.000 so 5.6% . Very, very little activity now so my questions:

1) It's not clearing very quickly - how much should I expect to clear before I bottle it? I'd read somewhere to wait for 3" or more (up to half a demijohn...) to clear but only about 1/2" has cleared since Wednesday...

2) When I come to bottle it does 1tsp sugar for fizz and 1 splenda for sweetness sound about right?

1tsp for fizz is good as for splenda it depends how sweet you like it.
I normally wait for it to clear approx 1/2 way down dj before i bottle. : ken

I don't wait, I bottle immediatly!
1/2 tsp sugar per 500ml, 1 tbls Splenda per 2.4ltrs and tea from 1 T-bag per 6 litres.
Mature for 8 weeks!
