Check this bad boy out, it's the capper I nicked off my dad, a boots own brand 1970s Classic.

So far, it's capped everything I've thrown it at:
Any wychwood bottle
Aspalls
Everything!

I guess they don't make them like they use to?

Lucky bleeder :D I used to have one of those, cant remember what happened to it, I still have the old boots recipe book though, the good old days when the local chemist helped with your home brew ! Most of the kit they flogged was good quality. If you fancy donating it,,,,, :whistle:

I wonder why modern cappers aren't adjustable. Mind you, as long as they can handle the deep collar bottles (type 3) then you can always compensate for shallow collars (type 2) by stacking three 1p coins on the cap so it's not really a problem.
