I picked up the last two homebrew kits during my latest trip to Wilkinsons and better than that, I got them at a discount.
I picked up the Geordie Mild and Lager kits; i quite like tweaking to make kits better - any recommendations?

Ideally, i like to make the lager more darker or try and make it a Pilsner...
I've never had mild before; isn't it just a weak bitter (so use less water to increase the %)?

Relative newbie to homebrewing , but I recently had a free Brewmaker Essential bitter kit and added a 1.5kg can of Coopers Amber malt extract to it ,instead of brewing sugar.
after only 14 days in the barrel it tastes excellent , much like sharpe's doombar only better!

From my experience I'd certainly recommend adding cooper's amber to the lager and cooper's dark to the mild kits.
