Know what I'm doing with beer and quite a bit of experience with wine, but this cider thing is new to me, but had to give it a go.
Started two 5 litre brews using different juices, 7 days ago, one looks like something produced by a cart horse and the other a bit more lady like. Both plopping once every 4 second or so, not done a hydrometer reading yet.
Idea is to produce something "nice" for the "ladies", as a summer drink. (According to M, they don't stay that way after drinking TC. let it be true,
Anyway back to reality, my eventual plan is to ferment a 25 litre batch right down and sweeten to taste, with more juice and then carb up in a cornie, does anyone see a problem with the plan ?
Meanwhile I am keen to produce some bottled stuff, for mobility purposes you understand. So are there any recommended SG to achieve at bottling time, that will not ferment to become dangerous, exploding bottles that is.

P.S. Top tip, buy in your apple juice quick before Mr. Darling has it taken off the shelves.
