ok guy's so i just want a no fuss medium tb so (a)whats the best yeast for this and (b) how many litres concoentrate for five gallons or is the later a stupid question!!! :whistle:
 
a. White labs WLP 775 for the yeast :thumb:
b. Yes stupid question :grin:

Just for clarification what you need is apple juice from concentrate, not concentrated apple juice ;)
The stuff in 1 litre cartons on the fruit juice aisle in the supermarket :)
 
It's drinkable straight from the fermenter ;)
But I have cracked open two year old bottles that were amazing :party:
 
been looking through my yeast collection. I seem to be down a wheat beer yeast? and up a so4? arrrrr thats way the cider tasted shall we say, interesting :P

Not bad flavour actualy, rather floral but balanced the dryness quite well

Hah! Actually sounds interesting though. I suppose the killer questions are, would you do it ever, ever again - and does it still taste like cider?
 
well i thought no, but thinking again now you've asked, i think yes i may. Accidents happen, thank god for penicillin. it got stuck for a while at around 1017 for a week then again at 1012 for another week but fine after that. i will try it again and let it ferment out.
