Hi. I started off a 2nd turbo cider today slightly different from my first which is 7 days old now and just stopped bubbling like mad and has reduced to one now and then. Would this be a good time to top up the apple juice to just under the neck? Would doing this start off fermentation again? It seems to be clearing too :ban: My second batch started today comprised the following- 4ltrs Waitrose AJ, 85g brewing sugar, 1 cup stewed tea, and 2/3rds of a 5g packet of cider yeast. Hopefully, it'll turn out to be more than just an experiment.

I was wondering about the yeast. Would you put the whole packet in (I'm making 5 litres) and how much of a difference does it make? Could I add the rest tomorrow if you say a full packet is ok?
 
Just chuck the whole 5g pack in, sounds about right. I'd have used a teaspoon amount. How much yeast did you use on your first batch?

Just out of interest, I have a tub of yeast and nutrient, can you use this instead of just yeast?
