Sadly Tuckers Maltings are to close in October 2018 after 118years. A sad day for brewers and historians in the south west. Also the loss of a fantastic venue for the beer festival.

I imagine the buildings have considerable value for redevelopment.

A shame.
I went there for a visit while on a holiday with friends about 25 years ago. Fascinating place.

Sadly the economics of floor malting seem to be taking their toll.
I use to used Beeston Malt from Nottingham (commercially, many moons ago) I think they are upmarket apartments now, echoing your thoughts Raymondo!
