I have been deinking the bottled version regular for many years but last weekend i thought it tasted quite bitter and unpleasant i put it down to a bad batch as my other beers tasted fine, i tried again last night with a bottle bought from a different store and again it was too bitter for my taste, i seem to remember someone posting that four beers from the brewery had their ABV reduced (or something similar) if this is the case could it effect the taste or are they using different (cheaper) ingredients, i wont be buying it again.

The question is have TT reduced the ABV of bottled Landlord.

I can only find it at 4.1% ABV

Had a couple last night, it was old stock but yeah it’s bitter. Have thought that for a while.

I’m sure bottled is darker too.

Do you also think they have changed something and spoiled a decent beer?
Dunno.

Haven't had cask for a while. It seems to be everywhere, almost too common so I tend to choose the other option(s).

A side by side bottle vs. Cask would be interesting... to pass 20 mins or so.
