morrisons had boxes of strawberries 900g so bought a box

blended it up and added some apple juice, 200g sugar and some yeast up to the shoulder of the dj its already exploded out the airlock but going well cant wait to try this one once finished should be about 7 or 8 %

fermented in 2 days so its been bottled and just aiting on priming before it goes in the fridge

yes thats what i was thinking but i started it off exploded out the airlock cleaned it up and left it two day was changing it into another bottle to get the fruit pulp out and just thought id check the gravity it dropped straigt down to 1.000 so had to scramble round for bottles to put it in cant wait for it to clear never tried real fruit in a turbo

well its primed and its been in the fridge a couple of days now and couldnt resist opening a bottle

looks very tropical tastes quite tangy and fresh but its got a slight eggy note to it like when its fermenting is there any way i can get rid of this or is it just to be lived with

still very drinkable tho

My guess on the eggyness is because you bottled too early. The yeast might have finished fermenting but hadn't had chance to re-absorb some of the by-products of the early stages. Leaving cider in the FV for a while after fermentation has finished does no harm.
