Hi all,

Been brewing all grain for a few months now. Have exclusively stuck to mash kits so far until I got used to the process. One of the mash kits I did was the HBC Citra American Pale Ale and it is hands down the best I've done so far.
So, as my first step into ordering my own ingredients I thought I would start with something similar.
Does anyone have any recipe recommendations for an APA with tropical/citrus type finish. Doesn't need to be Citra, I am open to ideas but was looking to keep the grain and hop bill fairly simple to start with!

Thanks

Totally Tropical pale is a recipe from James Moretons book that has a few threads on here, I did it and turned out well, if you can't find the recipe with a search on here I will pm you it later.

The Zombie Dust clone that's floating around the internet. Bloody gorgeous that is.

Simple ..5kg pale malt, you can add torrified wheat or barley flakes for head retention and some crystal for a bit of colour and sweetness if you like, bitter with magnum for about 50 IBU,bung in loads of ..cascade, Amarillo,Falconers Flight....choose one...for a dry hop,US05 yeast.
I add some crystal, oats and flaked barley.

So you need to order....25kg malt..plus crystal...wheat malt is also good..then hops....leave your shopping for a week and look on the Cross my Loof web site....tell them Clint sent you...
