i'll try and ignore the great films already listed and say, my favourite three movies must be

pirates of the caribbean/black pearl -it really is a great movie, a cracking plot, some really great characters and super perfomances.

contact -because it is the best scifi movie ever made and even though jodie is a rug muncher i would totally do her because i fell in love with Tullulah when i was 7

goodfellas - because ever since i could remember i wanted to be a gangster.
