Hi Guys

I have just realised that in my haste to get to my beer (and with SWMBA nagging at me) I have filled my pressure barrel with the wrong batch, i.e. straight from the primary!

I thought it was a bit cloudy as it went in, but was a bit distracted, and now (2 days later) it has got great pressure but I am concerned that it won't clear and I will be serving cloudy beer at my son's 21st.

Is there anything I can do, or will it clear by itself?

Thanks

Andy

it should clear a few days after it finishes if you can chill it it will clear even faster. You could probably still use finings aswell I use gelatine the search it will give you a better idea.

I would watch the pressure carefully if it is still fermenting it will get high, plastic barrels have been known to distort or even fail it the vents fail, also the excess co2 might just turn the pints you want to serve to foam, so just keep an eye on it.
