Running low on my pre-xmas brews now, so decided to get a few more kits to try (along with my Wherry kit which is fermenting away nicely)

beer by liamtmt7, on Flickr

Should give me a decent pre-summer stock. Brews so far have been average ABV so looking forward to the Double IPA. Cant go wrong with a nice stout and the Strawberry blonde is something new to try.

Anyone had any success with any of these kits?

JB Porter in the glass whilst I enjoy the football tonight!!

I did the Milestone Black Pearl last year it turned out really nice, I brewed it short to 21L as i read some other reviews that said it was a little watery at 23L. :hat:

I have just done the double IPA. And the 7.1% they state is very generous. Brewed mine 24L to try and get a bit more beer. And still ended up at 8.1% it does take upwards of 3 weeks to fully ferment though. Interested in how the strawberry blonde turns out though

8.1% ?? :drunk: Thats pretty steep. Need to be careful with that one then. I usually give all my kits 3 weeks. 2 weeks in Primary and a week in secondary.

Yeah looking forward to the strawberry blonde - will make sure I update the thread when I get onto it.
