Silly question, how do you know you've got the ingredients if you haven't got a recipe

Never thought of that one!! I sent off for the ingredients expecting the recipe inside. But alas noooooo

This has won a few awards including Best Clone so should get you there.
It will produce a paler beer than the commercial so you can match the colour at the bottle/keg stage with steeping grains or caramel. There is no disgrace in using it, you`d be surprised at how many do. Note; All temps in DEG.F.

4550 gms. Golden Promise.
112 gms. crystal 120 ebc.
35 gms. Fuggles
60 gms. Styrian Goldings
11 gms. Worcester Goldings.
Safale US-05 yeast (clean, low esters).

Adjust mash liquor to 5.5ph.
Mash at 150 deg.F. for 90 mins.

Sparge in your normal manner.

90 minute boil.
Add 35 gms. Fuggles for 60 mins.
50 gms. Styrian for 60 mins.
10 gms. Styrian and 11 gms. Worcester Goldings for 15 mins.
Plus Proafloc tablet.
Ferment as cool as you can.
I used gelatine finings in the secondary but nothing after that.

For the best flavour mature for 5 weeks.

Be patient and ENJOY
