Hi folks - Tilt hydrometer question here. I'm using my Tilt for the first time, and the data feed has been a wee bit dodgy. As can be seen from the screenshot attached, it wouldn't send data for a while, then it would consistently, and now it's not again, as of five hours ago. I can't see any consistent factor which is causing it to go offline. Wondering if it just goes offline when there's no significant changes in the SG? As I say, Tilt newbie here, so I'm probably overlooking something. Thanks in advance for all responses.

My kit:

Grainfather Conical Fermenter Pro
G-Cast
Orange Tilt (original version)

Hi, I have the same issue. Did you get it sorted? Mine also appears to continue heating when it goes offline.

Mine seems to have sorted itself now - last five or six brews I've done I've no issues with connectivity. I made some changes to my brewing area though, moved the G-Cast to a better location... really not sure what caused it. 🤔

I'm wondering if i had not connected it up tight enough. I've had it on test for 3 weeks, perfect.
I have a brew to do Mondy, so we shall see.

I did another test.
It failed several times.
I had a long email exchange with Grainfather, supplying video clips, photos, etc.

They eventually assessed that it must be a firmware issue.

They sent me a new one, even though the unit is three and a half years old, and well out of warranty.

Can't say fairer than that!
