Hi
started my first brew on the 1st, berwferm pils
Started spot on with airlock bubbling nicely then it stopped yesterday
Did a gravity reading 2day and it was 1.140 which I think is not bad for 3 days going to leave it a couple of days then do another test to make sure it's not stopped.

Hi, did you mean its dropped to 1014 (not 1.140) well first you need to leave it at least a total of 10 days maybe 14 . Even if your brew has finished fermenting the yeast needs time to clean up the brew (flavour etc ) What was your starting gravity ? your brew may drop to around 1010 (is it a kit brew ) hope it goes well for you .

Hi, ya I ment 1.014
My first reading was 1.044
I had a little taste before and consider the time it's been fermenting it wasn't bad so I'm hoping it will be a good one for a fist time brew in ten days
Cheers
