My build is about to take off as I have all the bits now, but I'm having last minute doubts about my chosen vessels for the HLT and boiler.

Would a Nordic Thermo box make a much better boiler(or HLT) than a straight forward pan? Will I end up just insulatiing them in anycase? Should I just bite the bullet and buy the thermo boxes instead?

Help. :wha:

Alemans threadmay give you some help. I would go for thermo boxes if they did 100l ones. No need to insulate very sexy and err very sexy. Need I say any more.

Yes, Alemans thread is one of my influences I have to admit. The shinyness of an all thermopot brewery isn't infulencing me at all.
