The White Grape Juice shortage thread .

Have you ever tried a wilko bottle in a Wow @Chippy_Tea ? Just thinking about the apple and wgj?

No Dave i am way too tight to pay that for white grape juice

We switched to red grape juice as soon as white became difficult to find, SWMBO likes Rosé wine and i soon got used to it and now prefer it, there is always loads of red grape juice in all supermarkets so no problem with supplies.

Got two bottles Saturday and started a 5ltr batch

1 bottle Wilkinson wgj concentrate
1 1/2 litres apple juice
500ml orange & orange
800 grms sugar
1 litre water

Looking good so far

Do you mean one bottle of concentrate to a gallon (i have never heard of sachets of concentrate)

To be honest I assumed it was a sachet but I didn't actually ask to see one. I was just inquiring what it was :)

By way of an update on this. Has anyone tried this product and how much of it would be the equivalent of 1 litre of wgj from a supermarket?

Hi Steve, I bought a litre from lhbs but haven't used any yet but I was going to use 250ml concentrate, 1.5 ltr apple juice,sugar to suit and top up to 4.5 ltr to make a white wow, so Im thinking 1ltr wgj is 250 ml concentrate but not scientific, just a guess really.
