I get this every now and again from the Wife. She can't understand that I just enjoy having a couple of pints or a glass of wine most nights. I don't NEED to have it, I just like to :D

aaah the joys of reaching 63 yrs of age.... you don't give a damn about a beer belly.
On a serious note, home brewers have to be careful of their alcohol intake, its too easy to step over the thresh-hold into drinking far too much. a taste hear a taste there, a couple of these........ it soon mounts up in a week. However its not all doom and gloom with some thought and care there's nothing wrong with having a few beers a day. Get some exercise ( lift a few crates or sacks of grain ) ...eat well with your beer. ( cut out the crap )
Remember beer is just liquid vegetables... right. Get your five a day. stay healthy.

Still if there's any out there that feel they have too much stock that's looking back at them from the store room then please pm me for my address and I will lighten your burden and relieve you of the temptation.

Stay healthy, and enjoy the beer in moderation for a long time.
