Hi,
After lots of reading and scouring e bay for kit I last night brewed my first batch! I have got the Burton summer Ale bubbling away in the spare room!
Amazed how easy it, was so far! And itching to get the brew bottled after fermentation and getting a taste!

Already eyeing up my next brew and will try a coopers Lager kit i think for summer drinking!

Really want to get some beer brewed from scratch so to speak so any real easy recipes would be welcome along with some method!
I am trying to keep the kit simple at present and not over complicating things! Fingers crossed the first brew will be a success!!

You'll enjoy this addictive hobby  and as for brewing 'from scratch', it's easier than you may think and can be done without spending a fortune .........

unless you want to go all shiny  :D

Echo everything above. Brewing from scratch or all grain gets easier and easier the more practice you get and once you have your technique down it's like cake baking, loads of time to do other stuff while the brew does it's thing
